Champions of the world!!!

"We are the champions" sang F.Mercury and the Queen in a song!Bhee, to be sincere,I don't love the football (it is a sport that I don't digest,perhaps for the motive that in Italy the sport is only football, the rest doesn't exist) I have not even looked at the game of Sunday but I have reentered to house in the additional times but been a great emotion because it was my beloved Italy that that the cup won, and for Italy I am ready to make the typhus in every occasion.
And' is very beautiful, and the principal plaza was later here in delirium, as in Italy!!
A beautiful satisfaction!!!!

Hi to everybody.Have I had some problems with my old PC, ohhh yes; it has decided to go away for some time : ((( And' is perhaps for the unbearable heat that is in these days? Indeed it is a lot of heat, almost suffocating, I hope that it can rain in the next days.Now that the children have begun the summer vacations they find a lot of fun to splash about in the small rubber swimming pool in garden :)))

I have made some photos to the beautiful flowers of the garden of my mother. Ohh it adores a lot his garden and his flowers they are stupendous. It devotes a lot of love and the results they are seen. There are at times days that my children find again him to play to ball, happens that some flowers you are found in the trajectory of their games and it it exclaims: " Ahhh, my poor flowers!!! " But it loves too much his nephews to scold them:))))

Hi to everybody.
Has been indeed today a very warm and sultry day. The temperature was of 36° degrees.The sultriness was unbearable indeed and the suits are attached to the skin!Mattia is to the field school in mountain and at least it he relaxes ;))))
We will go Sunday to do it visits him. There will be a party with all the parents and the children of the group. Ohh I hope that the day is beautiful! With this heat I don't succeed in concluding well nothing of, I have to end my postcards of the Swap, and then I have a tablerunner to complete.
I hope that for next week can rain so the air will refresh a few :)))) I should also make a pair of slippers for the bath to my sister! It has consumed those preceding that I had done her!!! I have some days to house from the job, next week and I hope to succeed in doing something :))))

Not much time for quilting

Yes, in these days I have sewn really little.
Mattia has ended the school, the 4 class has been promoted to, while Alice has suffered from enterogastritis this week. Ohhh it has been really badly, poor baby : (((
Now it is recovering in hurry and it is well.
The warm time has finally arrived here also, perhaps too much warm in a hit only :)))
Well, the only thing that I ended was the purse for my mother.
It desired a new shop bag, so me decided to copy the model of mine.
I knew that mother liked a lot it. The purse has a block of irregular star to the center and is done with a fabric homespun. When mother saw the new purse it exclaimed: " It is too much beautiful to hold as shopbag, I will use this as purse it brings job! "

Is time crazy?

We have indeed the strange meteo!!! Let's be in June and us wear still the sweaters with long sleeves!!! very often the forecasts done in tv are wrong and every day rains!!!!

Busy, busy....

Last week I have been very busy and I think that also this that begins is not different:)))))Many appointments are formed, the party of end scholastic year of Mattia, the performance in the kindergarten of Alice, the dentist, a course of updating to my job..... Blehaaaa!!!!Ohhhs, are so distant still my vacations!!!!!Perhaps it is not the case that I think about this:)))) Luckily that I have received some Postcardses from the last swap.They is very beautiful, each different from the other.The swap is initiated in this group:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/QuiltEurope/And an international group, to which also takes part my friend Denise: http://joyisquilting.blogspot.com/2006/05/this-is-quilt-i-purchased-at-garage.html We have already made a swap of blocks, the theme was stars, subsequently we have begun the swap of Postalcard, the first one was hearts, now the theme is flowers :))) I hope to succeed in sending my Postcards within the end of the week!!!Other very beautiful thing, I have received some siggies for my collection:))))I love to exchange the siggies, this is a nice way to know people, .............. only the pleasure to open some small envelopes, to know that someone has done something for me, to feel himself a small part of a whole universe,....... this is a beautiful thing :)))) The inventor of this swap is a Dutch lady Annelies that this group has formed to which makes part 400 people coming from every part of the world! Red surprise :))))))

This morning I had a marvelous sight for my eyes!
After having accompanied the boys to school I changed road to return home, I brought the photographic car with me and I had to photograph this marvel to every cost!!!A field of wheat that is maturing to the sun was everything red....... they was poppies in flower!!!! Ohhh I was so happy to be able to see this prodigy of mother nature :))))))

Along Came Polly

This is Polly!!!!! And' arrived Thursday afternoon for the joy of Mattia and Alice :)))) The happy air was in the whole house, the small rabbit was an a little frightened. It was very little happy!!!

The Bargello is finished!!!

I ended last Saturday my Bargello. I was very happy for this, because it was my gift for my mother. I gave this to it for her recurrence of Sunday, it remained very surprised and happy! I found the idea to make this project on the site of Bonnie: http://quiltville.com/scrapbargello.shtml Really a good job, thanks Bonnie!Its site is a resource of ideas, I love a lot its site and naturally I love the scrappy quilt :)))

Tomorrow 14 May they will be celebrated the mothers. Hurray the mothers of the whole world!!! My babies, Mattia and Alice have prepared some small gifts to school, they is so pretty!In these small gifts done with their hands there is to the inside everything of their love!!!! And me from good mother, have been moved :)))) To all the mothers I want to wish them "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!"

Today has been a beautiful day, even if it rains and it is cold :))))
Because, will ask you?! Simple, I have finally received the first number of a magazine
to which months I had subscribed ago!
By now I didn't hope for there more, instead here it is there to sprout from the hole of the letters in all of his shine :)))) There are not a lot of magazines in Italy that speak of patchwork, rather to say the truth only finds one. That's why we subscribe there to the foreign magazines.
Other motive because I am happy: this evening I talked for the first time to Denise:))))
It lives in Oregon in the States, this is fantastic, we often write us us but we were not never there languages because my PC had some problems.
Sunday evening,my husband has reformatted afresh it and at the end it has succeeded in installing the Messanger correctly!
Only that I have made my worse conversation of all of my life:))))
I was very excited and seemed me to have forgotten all the words!!!!
But this has been very beautiful, seem impossible that there are 9 hours of distance!
Here in Italy they were the 6 pm while in Oregon they were the 9 am :))))
And' fantastic!!!!

English language

Excuse me if I have begun to write in English but it seemed me correct ,considering that the friends with which exchange siggys, blocks and also only ideas and thoughts, they lives in Europe and over ocean:))))

I hope that spares you me of the errors, unfortunately my English is not of the best:))))

Recently I have begun a job of Bargello, ohhhh it is very beautiful as fatiguing to do!
You turns all with to cut, sew, stretch, cut and to ri-sew!!!!
But at the end I believe the beautiful one it is insured:)))))
I now have to end the job!!!

Siggys

Questa mattina mi è arrivata la cartolina di Jovita, dalla Lituania, molto bella con un cuore (naturale!?) in primo piano.
Inoltre ho ricevuto un altro siggy per la mia collezione; questo arriva dall'Australia con un bel canguro saltellante sopra :)))))
Ehhh si, tra le tante cose che scambio e colleziono ci sono anche i siggys. Cosa sono vi chiederete??? Sono dei blocchi piccoli, 12 cm. di lato, dove c'è il nome di chi l'ha fatto la data e la provenienza, oltre naturalmente ad un piccolo disegno che rappresenta la quilters che lo spedisce.
Qui nelle foto, ce ne sono alcuni che io ho già ricevuto.
La signora che ha ideato questo scambio è Annelies ed è olandese, la lista delle componenti supera le 400 iscritte, lo scambio impone un'unico obbligo chi riceve lo scambia con un siggy propio :))))
Non è da molto che io ho iniziato ma sono già a quota 40!
l'idea è quella di riuscire a confezionare un world quilt :))))
E poi come dice la mia amica Pik: " ......solo il piacere di aprire delle bustine, sapere che qualcuno ha fatto una cosa per te, sentirsi una piccola parte di un insieme,....... pensare al resto del mondo e a tante storie intrecciate. "
Ecco, una cosa bella, insomma fatta con divertimento e gioia come dovrebbe essere il Patchwork!

Tra poco più di una settimana sarà Pasqua ed io e i bambini abbiamo iniziato con le decorazioni.

Solo che questo tempo "pazzerello" non invoglia molto! Anche oggi è freddo e piove a dirotto....in montagna ha pure nevicato!!!! Mi sà tanto che andremo a rompere le uova sotto la neve :))))

Oggi ho ricevuto le cartoline da Angela e Cordula, fantastiche!
Molto belle entrambe,quella di Angela ha un cuore di plastica che ha la funzione di raccoglire dei glitter colorati sotto e quella di Cordula ha un bel cuore rosso su beige tutto trapuntato con filo dorato.
Naturalmente il filo conduttore di questo swap erano i cuori :))))

Mimosa

Oggi ho fotografato la mimosa del mio piccolo giardino.
Con un mese di ritardo è in piena fioritura!!!
